Anything that has recently lived can be composted in the right conditions.

You can compost  your :

• Fruit and vegetable trimmings
• Tea bags
• Grass cuttings
• Old plants
• Prunings
• Hedge clippings
• Hair
• Shredded paper
• Used tissues
• Cardboard
• The dusty contents of your hoover bag.
• Crushed Egg shells
• Coffee grounds

The most important thing is getting the consistancy right - not too wet and not too dry.
