What is Nappies for All?
 Nappies
for All is a local scheme that helps parents pay for the upfront
cost of washable nappies. Using washable nappies can, in the
long run, save you money but the upfront cost of buying a
complete nappy system can be expensive. Nappies for All, funded
by Sure Start, allows you to borrow money, interest free,
so that you can afford washable nappies. You simply pay back
an agreed monthly amount until the loan is paid off; often
less than the equivalent monthly spend on disposables so you
start saving right away. Because you need a washing machine
for washable nappies you can also use this loan to purchase
a washing / drying machine. |

Who
can benefit?
As the scheme is funded by Sure Start, only parents
that live in Sure Start areas are able to apply; loans of
up to £250 are available on a first come first served
basis although as money is repaid more is then available
to new parents. Currently the areas that are able to access
this scheme are:
Sure
Start Bideford
Sure Start Ilfracombe, Berrynarbor and Combe Martin.
If
your area is not listed but you are interested please contact
us and we will let you know when the scheme is available
in your area.
Unfortunately
as we have to comply with credit law we can only make these
loans available to parents over the age of 18.

How can I join?
You contact us to get an application pack and check that
you live in a qualifying area; you choose the nappy system
that you want and order it from your local registered supplier;
you complete the application form and your order is confirmed
with the supplier. They send you the nappies and you make
monthly payments until the loan is settled. Simple!
You
can make your payments either by direct debit or by regular
cash payments and if you don't have a bank account we can
set up an All Pay account for you to use. |

I already use washable nappies but need to buy some more,
can I still use the scheme?
Of course you can! Plus, you can add to your account at any
time up to a maximum credit of £250.
What happens if I move out of the Sure Start
area?
You must inform us of your change of address and keep making
the repayments but you will not be able to add to your loan.
Can I pay the loan off early?
Yes, at any time, without penalty.
What
happens if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from receiving the nappies to change your
mind. As long as the items are as new you will receive a
full refund and your credit agreement will be cancelled.

Can
I try before I buy?
Yes you can! There are a number of trial kits available throughout
the areas so you can try different types of nappies and find
one that really suits your baby. To arrange for a trial call
