In 2010/11, Devon was the highest performing recycling County in England.
National figures are collated annually by DEFRA through the WasteDataFlow database.
Devon authorities also collate their own statistics on a six monthly basis to enable authorities and Councillors to monitor progress through the Devon Authorities Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee (DAWRRC).
