What is it?
Once we have cut out things we don’t really need (reduce), reused what ever we can, recycled all the easy stuff; the next challenge is to find a way of recycling anything left over.
One of the biggest barriers to recycling even more, is recycling companies getting enough of the same type of stuff in the right place at the right time. Once those three issues are sorted, companies line up to recycle it!
Can it be recycled?
It depends on what it is.
From this website we already know that Devon’s main recycling centres will recycle;
Tins and cans Plastic
Batteries Garden waste
Main Recycling Centres may also recycle;
Plastic window frames
Light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
Soil and rubble

Local Councils, charities and other groups also recycle a huge range of materials so you may need to do a bit of research to find a place to recycle what you have.
Where can I recycle it?
If you still cannot find a place to recycle what you have, you could always contact the company who makes the thing in the first place.
If you want to search by material type, try this A-Z search.
