This picture was taken during the 2007 Waste Summit. Around 80 Students attend this annual event and schools are invited directly by their local Recycling Officer. This fun day explores waste issues and gives students the chance to have their say! Send us your pictures of recycling themed events using the form below.
This video was shown at the 2010 Waste Summit and is a powerful illustration of just how fortunate we are. From a waste perspective, we throw away a great deal of things; not because they don't work, but just bacause we want something new! This shows just how fortunate, and wasteful, we are.
