It won Best International TV ad at the Edinburgh Chip Shop Awards and was directed by acclaimed actor and director Peter Richardson, famous for his series of 'The Comic Strip Presents' comedies.

Actor Gary Beadle who provides the voiceover encourages people who are not recycling to join in with the following voiceover Heard the news? Thanks to you Devon recycles a thumping 50% of its waste. If that sounds good, imagine what would happen if we all joined in?

Plastic Surgery

It stars comedian Rik Mayall as a futuristic plastic surgeon who removes a shopper's plastic bags and re-packages the contents in Dont let Devon go to waste reusable cotton bags. The ad ends with a voiceover intoning, "Don't let Devon lose her looks, carry a bag".
