Doors open 7pm for refreshments - debate starts 7.30pm

This is your opportunity to come and ask our expert panel any questions relating to Green issues.

Rebecca Pow, Conservative MP

Robert Hawkins, Waste Manager, Viridor, has a great deal of knowledge of waste management at Broadpath Landfill Site

Oliver Dowding, Green Party member, and an organic farmer from Somerset

Caroline Pomeroy, Director of Climate Stewards, Christian organisation, also worked for Tear Fund in Ghana

 

The evening will be facilitated by Jack Wakefield who works for Tear Fund, a Christian international development and relief charity passionate about climate change.

 

You will have your own questions, but here are a few ideas, so please come prepared for a lively and interesting evening. Green issues concern ALL of us.

 

* What happens to all my recycling?

* Why is it so important to try and reduce my Landfill rubbish, and where

does it end up?

* What does dealing with all this waste cost us?

* Why should Climate Change bother me?

* What about environmental impacts of some modern farming practices?
