This childhood favourite uses leftover lemons to make a mouth-watering refreshing lemonade.

2 - 3 Lemons
1/2 Pint of Water
1-2 tbsp Sugar to taste
Sprig of mint (optional)
Ice (optional)
Cooking Method: 

1) Cut the lemons in quarters, add to a blender along with all of the water and half the sugar,

2) Blend until Smooth,

3) Pour through a plastic seive into a large jug - press on the pulp to get the last parts out,

4) Dilute with more water/ add more sugar as necessary to taste,

5) Pour over ice and add a sprig of mint (optional),


Or even try this hot recipe drink using
½ squeezed lemon,
2-3 pieces of ginger, skin on,
¼ tsp of cinnamon
2-3 tsps of honey,
Mix together with hot water and drink, the great thing about this is just keep adding the hot water, a healthier solution to that cuppa!
