In 2019, a call to action was put out for residents of Devon to counter throwaway culture. Over 40 volunteers from Repair Cafés across Devon joined forces for the world’s first ‘BIG FIX’, helping Devon’s residents in fixing their broken household in just one day.
The following year the project grew its mission through going nation-wide, and in 2023, instead of running on one set day, The BIG FIX took place
‘Any Day in May’ enabling more Repair Cafés to be able to take part. This year’s BIG FIX was another roaring success!
