Borrow and Share
Tools and Household Items
Have you got a garage full of tools you’ve only used once?
Did you know, it’s estimated that a drill is used for just 10 minutes over its lifespan?
There are many community-run services where people can borrow items that are used on an infrequent basis such as hedge trimmers, drills or sewing machines for a small fee (through membership).
By borrowing, not buying, you can save money, storage space and resources – it’s a win-win-win! Find your local Library of Things on the following list or on the community groups map here.
