What can I recycle?
Green recycling bin
Paper – newspapers, magazines, yellow pages, shredded paper, wrapping paper, catalogues, telephone directories and junk mail
Cardboard – kitchen roll tubes, cereal boxes, egg boxes, pet food boxes, sleeves from ready meals, toothpaste boxes.
Plastics – bottles, yoghurt pots and margarine containers, cleaning product bottles, fizzy drinks bottles, alcoholic drinks bottles.
Metals – food and drinks cans, Aerosols, Foil.
Glass – bottles and jars any colour.
Garden waste bag
- Branches up to 7cm in width (the width of a drinks can)
- Grass cuttings
- Hedge trimmings
Please don’t put the following in your garden waste bag:
- Japanese knotweed or ragwort
- Plant pots or trays
- Vegetable peelings
- Any other non-plant material
