Reuse Shops

Have you been to the Reuse Shop at your local Recycling Centre yet?

All Recycling Centres (excluding Totnes*), have a shop where you can purchase good quality items looking for a new home. By reusing, you are giving items another life before they are safely recycled. Recycling is great, but reuse is even better!

The stock at each Reuse Shop changes daily and there are some great bargains to be found. All prices are set by the Recycling Centre operators, not Devon County Council, and all money raised contributes to the operating costs of the Recycling Centre service.  Credit/debit card payments only.

Donated waste electrical items such as lamps, TVs and vacuum cleaners are fully safety tested before being sold in the shop.

Reuse Drop Off Points

If you have items that you don’t need but they still have life left in them, then look out for the Reuse Drop Off point at your local Recycling Centre (excluding Totnes*).  If you can’t see the drop off point, please ask the operative on site. Here you can drop off good items that can then be sold through the shops and find a new home.

*At Totnes reusable goods are donated directly to the reuse charity Refurnish

Due to space constraints Reuse Shops can’t reserve items for you.
