What can I recycle?

Brown Recycling BAG

Cardboard – all flattened cardboard without sticky tape/ labels, printed cardboard e.g.. cereal boxes. Egg boxes.

Green Recycling BAG

Paper – newspaper and magazines, catalogs, general paper, all envelopes Textiles – clean old clothes, shoes in pairs, duvets covers, pillowcases and handbags. (maximum 3 items per week)

Green Recycling BOX

Plastic – plastic bottles, food trays, margarine tubs Metal – food and drinks tins, aluminium foil, aerosols, batteries, small electrical items

Black Recycling BOX

Glass – glass bottles and jars

Food Waste Caddy

Food – vegetable peelings, tea bags, coffee grounds, egg shells, stale bread, meat, fish, plate scrapings (raw and cooked).

Green Wheelie Bin

(Optional chargeable Service)

Garden waste – hedge clippings, flowers, lawn mowings and weeds, plants without soil.

Branches – small branches, twigs, bark, untreated sawdust or wood shavings.
