Nappies

Nappies can be put out in your general waste bin with your household collection, they cannot currently be recycled.

Alternatively, real nappies offer a less wasteful and cheaper option – find out more about real nappies here. 

Newspapers

All district councils collect paper in their household collections.  Please click here for more information on what your district council collects.

Paper can also be recycled at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre or paper recycling banks.

Night Storage Heaters

Due to health and safety, night storage heaters are only acceptable at Household Waste Recycling Centres which accept asbestos. They must be double wrapped and in a tough/ thick seal and must not have their bricks removed.
